Comedy Night Dave - UPDATE!

Hi Guys!  Just a little post today (although it could turn into a big one as I'm MEGA excited), to add onto my previous posts about the amazing upcoming event - COMEDY NIGHT DAVE!

Comedy Night Dave tickets are selling fast!

This live mic comedy championship is the first of its kind in Huddersfield and has a prize on the night of £200 for Huddersfield's funniest person!  Should you want to enter the championship please call Paul at The Keys restaurant (the event venue - which is situated underneath St Peter's Church in Huddersfield) on 01484 516677, alternatively, you can email him on pbwood@gmail.com.

The tickets for the night are selling fast so if you want some - BUY THEM QUICKLY!  They can be purchased from The Keys restaurant and are £10 each - this price also includes supper on the night too so as well as having a barrel of laughs, you will be fed too!  Today it has also been announced that the creator of the event, my good mate Dave Cowan, who himself is a legend in his own right in Huddersfield will be adding to the party atmosphere by spinning some tunes disco stylee, compering and being a general funny man himself - this means that the tickets are even better value for money now!

Want another reason to buy a ticket?  Well here it is....£1 of each ticket sold will go to the Leeds children's heart surgery fund - an extremely worthy cause that has A LOT of meaning to the people of Yorkshire.  This money will be used in the launch of a legal battle to try and overturn the decision to close this much needed unit.

So there it is....are you excited yet?  Its been ages since we have had something a little different to do in the Hudd - something that will create laughter and happiness too which is good for the soul.  So, if you're free on Saturday 29th September 2012 and fancy a good old belly laugh with a party to follow, get yourself down to The Keys for your tickets - they won't be around for much longer!  See you there folks!

Dave Cowan - Artist, DJ, Huddersfield legend!
